Tips and tricks to enhance your stuffed butternut squash

After preparing this stuffed butternut squash, here are a few tips to make it even more perfect:

1. Customize the Stuffing: Feel free to swap out wild rice for quinoa or couscous if you prefer. The squash is versatile, so mix in your favorite ingredients, like roasted vegetables or even a sprinkle of vegan cheese for extra creaminess.

2. Add a Sweet Touch: For a richer flavor, drizzle the stuffed squash with a little maple syrup or balsamic glaze before roasting. It will balance the savory stuffing with a subtle sweetness.

3. Make Ahead: This recipe is great for meal prep! You can roast the squash ahead of time and store the stuffing separately, then combine and bake just before serving. It’s perfect for Thanksgiving when you want to save time on the big day.

These small tweaks can elevate your dish and make it uniquely your own while still keeping it seasonal and plant-based!
