Ingredients

  • 8 dl textured soy protein (dried) (3.4 cups)

  • 1 liter veggie broth (4.2 cups)

  • Chili (to taste)

  • Paprika (to taste)

  • 1 tbsp dark mushroom soy

  • 1 tbsp tomato paste

  • Garlic powder (to taste)

  • Onion powder (to taste)

  • 2 dl rolled oats (0.85 cups)

  • Vegan butter (for frying)

Directions

  • Boil the veggie broth with chili, paprika, dark mushroom soy, tomato paste, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Pour the broth over the textured soy protein and stir.
  • Cover with a lid and let it sit while preparing the oats.
  • Blend the rolled oats into flour.
  • Stir the oat flour into the soy protein mixture until well combined.
  • Form the mixture into patties.
  • Heat vegan butter in a pan.
