Ingredients
2 medium-sized red onions
1 deciliter of sugar
1/2 deciliter of distilled white vinegar (12%)
1 deciliter of water
Directions
- Slice the onion to thin rings
- Put them in a heat-safe jar
- Bring the water to a boil
- Turn off the heat
- Add the sugar and vinegar and combine until the liquid is clear
- Pour over the red onion
- Let cool
